80 Pontiac Trans Am
This 1980 TransAm was taken on by Cruise-In Restoration to finish paint, body work, and fully assemble to driving stage. Based on the circumstances of this car, it was disassembled by another shop with no organization or labels for the parts which made it very difficult. It took many hours of research to find out many parts were missing. In addition it had a blown motor and a hacked wiring system. We sent out the motor to be rebuilt, invested in a new wiring harness, and purchased many parts to be able to move forward with this project.
This 1980 TransAm was finished with a high quality paint job using “Belize Blue Effect” Chromobased Dupont and tan interior. We also installed the Bird emblems on the hood and the other original areas on the vehicle. To complete the vehicle we installed a freshly built 400 Pontiac motor that puts out 415 horsepower and 458 torque.
